THE INTERNAL BLUEPRINT:
MANDALAS & INTUITIVE MAPS

Sanskrit for ‘circle’, a Mandala is a symbol of the universe and represents unity, wholeness, infinity and totality.
An important part of Buddhist and Hindu faiths, they are often created in sand as part of a meditative process that marks a sacred space.

The 'More' are known as Zentangles™ or Zen Doodles. This style of abstract drawing incorporates repetitive patterns that can be both organic and geometric. Drawn with black ink on white paper, they can include pops of color, and shading to enhance depth. The process is relaxing and meditative, taking the artist into a tranquil world of their own creation.​

If the Goddesses are the inhabitants of my soul, the work here and in the next two categories—Sacred Symbols and Zodiac Hamsas—are the maps and talismans that guide the way. I move between the Internal Geometry of my original Mandalas and the Ancient Geometry of sacred icons, recognizing that whether a symbol is found in a book or through my own creation, it serves the same purpose: to provide protection, order, and a sense of the divine in my journey through space.
